Continuing Education Credits Available

5 Continuing Education Credit’s for LVN, RN and LPC, LMFT, LCSW’s are being offered to any participants that register, pay their fee, attend the complete day and will receive their certificate at the end of the event.
The fee is $10 for any registrations desiring to receive credits.

CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System is an approved provider of continuing nursing education (CNE) by the Texas Nurses Association-Approver, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

To receive contact hours for this continuing nursing education activity, the participant must: sign in at registration desk, attend entire activity unless partial attendance is allowed, and complete the evaluation tool within specified time frame. Once successful completion has been verified, a “Certificate of Successful Completion” will be awarded for 5.0 contact hours.
This CNE activity has been jointly provided by CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System collaboratively with Samaritan Counseling Center of East Texas.

This year’s speakers plus other community leaders will be presenting and answering questions surrounding mental health for the late adolescent and early adulthood population.

            In addition to the speakers pictured above, a panel of several attorneys, including Smith County Judge Nathaniel Moran, will answer questions surrounding the legal matters involved for parents attempting to help their young adult children navigate the current mental health system.
